MY Ideas!! REALLY?

• How can this be MY idea? Why can it not be MY Idea? 
• Who is MY? 
• Did the body which is assigned to the name Harry produce this idea? How could the body produce it? 
• Did the brain that is assumed to be the center of thought have this idea?  if so how can this idea belong to the brain- it is just an organ? 

These were the line of questions  that kept flashing in quick succession. More in line with Ramana Maharishis “who Am I?” enquiry . 

CAUTION  – I don’t mean to say that you should/or should  not take ownership of the ideas that come to your mind. i would rather have you experience and taste this phenomenon. You would not know the taste of Coffee just by hearing the the word Coffee unless you taste the coffee. So also unless you get on your own path of self discovery and experience the taste you would not know 

WE CONTINUE  – The answers did not flash through though, they came by gradually and over a period of time. Before I got the answers which could be articulated in the language I predominantly use it was more of a knowing- the ideas are not mine because there is no MY. For some reason the experience was as though “MY” had taken a walk and left the building unattended LOL 

I realized that all ideas exist and have always been  around in the one Universal MIND– just like the air we breathe.. It is just a matter of who connects with this universal  MIND and downloads the idea, the message, the story. You can liken it to a huge network grid with infinite ideas.  (infinite can not be imagined) if you can imagine infinite then it is not infinite anymore is it? Anyway the ideas are all floating about and one of the 7.4 billion or any number of the 7.4 billion human receptors (personal minds) can link up to the Universal Mind and receive that idea at that moment. 

Of course you will see the obvious logic- The idea does not differentiate based on race, caste, creed, class or any of those things nor does it cater only to so called labels of rich, poor or physically fit etc. It is just there.  The Mind just gives.  

Recently I attended a book reading session . The reason this memory comes to mind is that the author of this book is pretty young- 16 years and already written and published his book . Now we know for a fact that he is the author and has written, however I am sure his inspiration was his connection to the source. And yes the Universal mind is there for the young and old. You can connect up at any age 🙂  
  
So as the answers sunk in gradually. The entire old paradigm of taking ownership, defending, expecting praise and a pat on the back for an idea just faded away- it was no more needed.   I realized that there was never a need to be bent out of shape if  My ideas are not accepted, not praised, are  copied or that someone else steals my ideas (all this was my corporate experience having been there and seen others fight it out).  because they are not mine in the first place as there is no Mine. It just is.. One would call me crazy if I staked claim to the air we all breathe similarly no idea is totally yours. Ideas can  come in bits and pieces and be merged by meeting of the minds. They can be given to many at the same time too- so no point in beating yourself if others stake claim to it- it is not ours or any one else’s  anyway. 

AND THE OUTCOME IS – When there is no MY, there is nothing Mine and when there is nothing MINE there is no holding on, no grasping, no resistance. It is  like the zen story “just imagine you are falling through this world and you see that everything around you is also falling with you” . It takes away all the stress of holding on to nothing 
  
The wisdom of the sages and their  words are true- we are all from the same source and we are all in the MIND. The human experience & form is one of its kind I am sure- when you expand into being nothing you know that you have always been and will be. There is no end. 
  
The questions that need to be asked is – do you want to be different ? do you want to be recognized ? do you want to gain prestige ? or do you just want to serve by being what you are supposed to be. When a person truly understands the prayer “thy will be done”  The prayer of the personal mind will be “thy will be done by me or through me” I am just a conduit, a channel  . The body and its senses are mere tools used to express what life wants to experience and express, ideas being one of them that life experiences  

Try loosing the ME and see what happens. It is one amazing ride.
